Ian Smith –
I bought 2 of these units, one for my 2013 F Type and one for my 2013 RR Sport. They both had the out of date factory navigation system. These aftermarket systems promised Google map interface. I had them professionally fitted by TNT Auto in Temuka (NZ). Both units work fine and just like advertised. Only issue I have had is that music from my iPhone has to be set to the car Jaguar F Type/RR Sport and not to CarPlay. My son was able to help out with this and now everything is great. Well worth an upgrade and highly recommended.

Absolutely terrific. One of the few things I disliked about my 2016 Jaguar F-Type was the infotainment system. This made all the difference. Item works as described, maybe even better. I posted a review on my usage on YouTube if you search by the product name and look for the SR Customs channel. The pictures listed here are of my installation. UAD customer service has been top notch, helping me with some initial installation challenges I ran into, even provided me with a custom update on the software to help resolve one problem. Highly recommend.

I installed one of these in my Jaguar F-Type 2015 (Bosch system). I had no prior experience of dismantling dashboards and I was wary of breaking something, however I followed the instructions (and with a little help from YouTubers) the installation proceeded as easy as described. Wow! was first impression when turning on the unit. I don’t have the factory fitted navigation, so to get Android Auto; Google Maps and Spotify is brilliant and all without having to plug in my phone too.
A couple of tips … for those of you who don’t have in-built navigation you need to switch to IDCore by touching Navigate on the screen. Also, you need to switch off any VPN you might be using on your phone, Otherwise, switching between Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is very simple for those of you with mixed tech family! A fantastic upgrade that both modernises the graphical interface and provides up-to-date functionality – no brainer!
